Students' Corporate Visit to Lee Jae Architects
Students from the employment club D.C.L of Pai Chai University visited the office of Lee Jae Architectural Research Institute in Bangbae-dong. Lee Jae, the representative architect of the institute, provided the students with an opportunity to experience real-world architectural practice through a site visit that they would not have encountered in the classroom. The students had the chance to observe various processes in the architectural office and witness the progress of actual projects up close. During the visit, the students attentively listened to Lee Jae’s work, which delves deeply into architecture, and engaged in a candid discussion with him about the future direction of architecture. Lee Jae also shared insights into the important values and attitudes necessary for studying architecture, encouraging the students to pursue their dreams. Through the site visit, the students came to realize that architecture is not just a theoretical subject but a field that profoundly impacts society and human life. This visit became a valuable opportunity for the students to solidify their passion for architecture and gain confidence in their career paths.
배재대학교 취업동아리 D.C.L 학생들이 이재건축연구소 방배동 사무실을 방문했습니다. 이재건축연구소 대표 건축가 이재는 학생들에게 건축사무실 현장견학을 통해 건축학부(과) 재학생들에게 강의실에서는 접하지 못했던 현장을 직접 경험할 수 있는 기회를 제공하여 학생들이 현장실무 환경에 대해 이해할 수 있도록 사무실 탐방을 실시하였습니다. 학생들은 건축사무소의 다양한 작업 과정과 실제 프로젝트 진행 상황을 가까이에서 볼 수 있는 소중한 경험을 했습니다. 방문한 학생들은 진지하게 건축을 탐구하는 그의 작업에 귀 기울였으며, 학생들과의 질의응답 시간을 가져 건축이 나아가야 하는 방향에 대해서도 스스럼 없는 논의를 나눴습니다. 이재 대표는 또한 학생들에게 건축을 공부하는 데 있어 중요한 가치와 태도에 대해 이야기하며, 그들의 꿈을 응원하는 메시지를 전했습니다. 이번 방문은 학생들에게 건축에 대한 열정과 진로에 대한 확신을 심어주는 계기가 되었습니다.
